GSA Decision Postponed - 4 to 5 movement raises awareness and support for LGBT rights at Notre Dame

The University of Notre Dame announced on May 1 that it would postpone its decision on whether it would formally recognize the Gay-Straight Alliance as a university club. The announcement followed months of protest and awareness activities led by the 4 to 5 Movement and the Progressive Student Alliance. It marks the first time that the university has deferred, rather than denied, the request for a GSA.
