Why Gender Studies?

Our students come to us with a wide range of intellectual interests, including women’s studies & feminism, masculinity studies, and queer studies & LGBTQ issues. The required courses graduate minor and undergraduate major/minor, provide a rigorous academic basis for studying gender and its impact on humans as embodied, social beings.
