Miss Representation - a documentary film by Jennifer Siebel Newsom

On Tuesday, March 25th, we will be screening “Miss Representation” in 102 DeBartolo Hall at 6:30pm. Miss Representation is a 2011 film by Jennifer Newsom that addresses issues regarding the under-representation of influential women in mainstream media (click here to read more about the film). Following the movie, there will be an opportunity for attendees to engage in an informal discussion. Dinner will be provided. See the attached flyer for more.

Shades of Ebony is an organization on Notre Dame’s campus that aims to unify, inspire, and empower women of all shades. From March 24th-28th 2014, our organization will be partnering with the Gender Relations Center and several other groups on campus to present our 2nd Annual Women’s Week, and we have an opportunity for your students to get involved!
