Ann Shola Orloff, professor of sociology at Northwestern University, will present a lecture on her upcoming book project entitled, "Transformations in Gendered Welfare States: Sweden and the US, 1960s to 2020s" on Monday, November 29 at 2:30 p.m. in the Elizabeth E. Nanovic Seminar Room (1050 Jenkins Nanovic Halls). Orloff works on comparative historical tradition and within the discipline of sociology is famous for her gendered approach to welfare states. 

This lecture is free and open to the public.
