Gender Studies has allowed me to take a wide variety of classes that I would not have been able to take otherwise, and yet, my experience has been so positively impacted by them. One example is the Brazil: The Giant of the South class taught by Professor Marcio Bahia. The flexibility within the schedule allows you to pursue topics within your individual interest but also span across so many disciplines and areas of study.
