Robyn Grant selected as winner of the 2011 Undergraduate Library Research Award

Robyn Grant’s History/Honor’s Track Thesis “But who will do the dishes?  Negotiating socialism with femininity in Mujeres magazine Cuba, 1961-1965” has been selected as the winner of the 2011 Undergraduate Library Research Award.  

Robyn will be presented with the cash award of $1000 on Friday, May 6 at the Undergraduate Research Conference.

Robyn’s thesis advisor was Jaime Pensado.  In April, Robyn was also awarded the Gender Studies Program Genevieve D. Willis Thesis Prize for her thesis.  Robyn’s major is History/Honors Track and her minor is Gender Studies.  She is the current President of the Gender Studies Honors Society.
