Sarah McKibben is an Associate Professor of the Department of Irish Language and Literature, and is a Fellow of the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies and of the Nanovic Institute for European Studies. She is the author of Endangered Masculinities in Irish Poetry, 1540-1780 (UCD Press, 2010) and numerous articles on gender and early modern and twentieth-century Irish literature. Her research interests include early modern and 18th-century Irish poetry, colonial and postcolonial studies, gender and queer studies, humor, contemporary Irish poetry and the politics of minority languages.
