The College of Arts and Letters congratulates:
Julia Douthwaite, professor of French and Francophone studies
Douthwaite has been selected to receive the 2013 Charles E. Sheedy Award for excellence in teaching. The highest teaching honor in Arts and Letters, the Sheedy award was founded in 1970 in honor of Rev. Charles E. Sheedy, C.S.C., who served as dean of the College from 1951–69.
The award ceremony is open to all faculty and students.
