Discussion to follow Thursday's screening.
Well before her "You Can’t Handle the Ruth" T-shirts, Ruth Bader Ginsburg had been a rockstar within the legal world, bringing about enormous victories for people, mainly women, who the law didn’t treat equally. Now in her eighties and, in some respects, her prime, Ruth Bader Ginsburg finds herself a rockstar outside of the courtroom as an iconic fighter for human rights. Cementing her icon(oclast) status, she now has her own documentary that explores her life’s work and the work remaining to ensure the law and society treat all genders, all colors, all religions, and, in sum, all people fairly and with dignity.
Professor Pski (Linda Przybyszewski) will be leading the discussion following “RBG” the movie on Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Thursday, August 23 at DPAC at 7 pm.
It will also be showing Friday 6:30 pm, Saturday 6:30 Pm, and Sunday 3pm.
