The Gender Studies Program was not how I began my academic career at Notre Dame, but as I look towards graduation, I remember how fortunate I am to have found it. Through the Program, the professors as well as my fellow students inspired and encouraged me to pursue what interests me - to make my career my own. I was able to explore so many disciplines of study through the lens of gender. With my concentration in Arts and Culture, I take classes that relate to our contemporary global society as well as my interest in Ancient Civilization. I studied abroad in South Korea to write my Senior Thesis on the music and youth culture there. I participate in Triota as well as the Gender Studies Steering Committee to ensure that others will have the opportunity to explore what inspires them. I feel limitless here, and I hope to be of service to those who also seek their own path.
