Angel D. Matos, a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in English and Gender Studies Graduate Minor student, was recently nominated by the Graduate School for the Midwest Association of Graduate Schools' Excellence in Teaching Award. Each MAGS member institution may submit only one Ph.D. nomination, and Angel was Notre Dame's choice this year.
