Colleagues, it is with pride and pleasure that I announce that Pam has been promoted to Professor. This well-deserved upgrade recognizes her teaching, her many contributions to the department, to Gender Studies, her international standing in media and gender studies, and her consistently innovative ongoing program of scholarship, most recently manifested in her book The Apartment Plot.
