Hoosiers Out Together Conference (HOT Con)

Author: Linnie Caye

The 2017 Planning Committee at Purdue University is excited to invite you to be part of the first Hoosiers Out Together Conference (HOTCon)!

We ask that you please share this Call for Proposals with undergraduate and graduate students, staff, faculty, and anyone interested in presenting a poster or a 60-90-minute workshop at HOTCon during the weekend of March 31st to April 2nd.

HOTCon is the first college conference to focus on the history, present conditions, and future visualizations of LGBTQ+ people in Indiana. Over three days of workshops, poster presentations, activities, and panels, we will explore the challenges that face us as LGBTQ+ Hoosiers. HOT CON is a safe space for undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and community members of diverse identities to come together, network, and build coalitions.

Please find the submission guidelines and a sample proposal here: http://tinyurl.com/CFPhotcon

Proposals will be accepted until Monday, February 20th.

With earnest hopes to hear from you soon and our best regards,

The 2017 Planning Committee.
