It was my love for feminist fiction that I explored through my English major that initially interested me in Gender Studies, but as I began taking more classes in the program I became extremely interested in everything it had to offer. From “Gender Theory” to “Gender and Peace Studies,” the program has not only provided a focus to supplement my English degree but has also sparked my interest in history and in working toward equality for everyone.
