Pbutler 2018

I’m happy to announce that Pamela Butler is this year’s winner of the Marian Mullin Hancock Award for Excellence in Teaching Gender Studies!

Please join me in wishing her congratulations, and thanking her for her deep commitment to feminist pedagogy and to ensuring that Notre Dame students receive a top-notch education in gender studies.

Thanks also to all of our other nominees, whom the selection committee found impressive as well: Susan Harris, Alison Rice, Emily Remus, and Sophie White.  Our program is truly fortunate to have so many stellar teachers.

Pam will receive her award at our Spring Faculty Reception on Thursday, May 3.

Best wishes,

Mary
