It was such a natural fit for me ideologically, it was an awesome experience.
How your Gender Studies education has impacted your life:
I loved that it helped me to shape my broader values about social issues. It really helped me to align myself with the career of social work, as so many of the issues about gender were also about individual groups that are marginalized throughout culture.
Your hopes for the future of Gender Studies at Notre Dame:
I hope that it continues to be so relevant and impactful for future students.
