The conference will take place at the Notre Dame Conference Center in McKenna Hall, with a Friday early-evening reception at nearby Saint Mary’s College.
Check-in will be open from 8:30–9:00am on Friday, April 27.
Panels will run from 9am–5pm on Friday and 9am–4pm on Saturday. It is our expectation that participants be present for the entire conference in order to facilitate a robust, extended conversation. A detailed schedule of events, panels, and presenters will be made available in early April.
There is no fee for attending the conference, which is free and open to the public. Please feel free to bring guests to the panels and to the Friday reception!
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be served to presenters on Friday and Saturday, with additional snacks available to all (including guests) at the Friday reception. If you have dietary restrictions or safety concerns, please note them where indicated on your registration form.
Conference attendees are responsible for finding their own dinner on Friday evening. There are several places nearby to eat: a pub in the Morris Inn opposite the conference center, several restaurants on Eddy Street just south of campus, and a few more in the Duncan Student Center. We also encourage you to explore the city of South Bend if you are able, including the restaurants of downtown South Bend, about two miles from the conference center.
Lodging: We are not able to provide accommodations for conference attendees, but can recommend options on and close to campus (see list below). If you would like to be connected with fellow presenters who may be interested in sharing lodging, please contact me at pbutler1@nd.edu.
