Barbara Green is a Professor of English and Concurrent Faculty in Gender Studies. Her areas of specialization are gender and (British) modernism, modern periodical studies and feminist print culture, and she teaches courses in those areas as well as in autobiography studies. She is the author of Feminist Periodicals and Daily Life: Women and Modernity in British Culture (Palgrave Macmillan) and Spectacular Confessions: Autobiography, Performative Activism, and the Sites of Suffrage, 1905-1938 (St. Martin's Press) and is co-editor of Women's Periodicals and Print Culture in Britain, 1918-1939 (Edinburgh University Press). She is an editor of the Journal of Modern Periodical Studies.
