How Can I Do This?
Because the Gender Studies curriculum is interdisciplinary, students take courses that fulfill a wide range of College and University requirements for undergraduate education. Under the new core curriculum introduced in 2018, this flexibility allows students in any College or major to complete a Gender Studies major or minor while simultaneously making progress toward their primary degree.
Below are sample course plans for combining a Gender Studies major or minor with primary majors in Engineering, Science, Business, and Arts & Letters. The courses listed here are only a handful of the dozens of Gender Studies courses available for students to choose from.
"Gender Studies became the perfect intersection of my many fields of study. The interdisciplinary nature of the program never fails to teach me a new way of looking at things."
