Student Opportunities

Gender Studies students extend their education beyond the classroom via independent research, internships, participation in Triota, the Gender Studies Honor Society, and through service, community organizing, and activism. Undergraduate students can also represent their peers on the Gender Studies Steering Committee.

To support Gender Studies students in these pursuits, the Program offers several opportunities for funding and/or prizes, including research grants, internship grants, writing awards, opportunities for publication, and a praxis award that honors the integration of learning with social justice.
